Anna C., (nee Lee), 91, of Rutherford, formerly of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 15th, 2015. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, wife, aunt, friend. Born in Bayonne, she was the youngest of Peter and Mary Lee's 8 children. Anna lived in Rutherford for over 50 years.
Anna was a faithful parishioner of The Church of St.Mary and attended Mass daily. She was an active member of the Rosary Society, Rosary Makers Guild, the Order of Martha, the Golden Ages Club and a volunteer for the Rutherford Food Pantry and St. Mary Rectory. Anna was previously employed by Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford for 10yrs in the Clerical Dept.

Anna cherished spending time with her loving family. She was an avid Yankee fan, liked to travel and especially enjoyed seeing Italy, Ireland and Hawaii. Anna loved the beach and spent many happy times at the Jersey shore with her family.
Anna is predeceased by her husband Frank (1976). She will be deeply missed by her 6 children, Theresa Parrish, Elaine Rodgers and her husband John, Frank and his wife Katrina, Maria Considine and her husband John, Carol Rieder and her husband Robert, Rita Sorbera and her fiance’ Peter Duncan, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Anna is predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert Parrish, and 7 brothers and sisters.

The family wishes to thank the outstanding caregivers and staff members at Waterview Center for their love, kindness and compassion during the final years of Anna's life.


Funeral on Saturday at 9am from the Calhoun Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 10am Mass of Christian Liturgy in The Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm
