Mildred, 91, long time resident of Rutherford, passed away Wednesday March 19th, 2014. She was born in 1922 to Henry and Mary (nee Mullen) Heidt in Union City. Mildred had been employed with Siltex in Moonachie, as their bookkeeper . She was a member of the Church of Saint Mary’s Rosary Society, loved to knit and crochet, and was an expert at crossword puzzles. Her growing family was most important to her.
Mildred is predeceased by her husband Henry (2004). She will be deeply missed by her beloved children; Janice Roberts, Karen Ferrara, Mary Ann Adams, Laurie Verlardi,
her 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her siblings, Joseph, Francis, Sylvester and Thomas.
Funeral Saturday 11:00am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by 12:00pm Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
Interment in St.Peter’s Cemetery, Liberty NY
Family will receive friends Friday 3:00 to 7:00pm.
