Nikodem Kasperowicz, 96, of Washington Township,NJ passed away Sunday, August 10th, 2014. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Nikodem and Elizabeth Kasperowicz in 1918.

He was employed with Ford Motor Company for 27 years where he was a Purchasing agent in the Teterboro Parts distribution center. He retired in 1980 and enjoyed 34 happy years since. He also enjoyed the companionship of miniature Poodle Coffee(his favorite)and Mocha,the Pomeranian. They will miss him dearly,as we all will.
Nick enjoyed Bible Studies and Testimony Meetings at the Dawn Bible Students Assn., East Rutherford where he was an Elder. He spent many hours weekly reading and studying the scriptures in the Bible.
Nikodem is the beloved husband of his sweetheart Lillian Kasperowicz who passed away in February 2014. They were married for 66 years. He is survived by his son, David Kasperowicz, his granddaughter Brianna Kasperowicz, his sister Helen Lacefield of Arkansas and his nieces Glenda, Dianna and Janet and his brother Edward Kasperowicz of Long Island and nephews Billy, Randy and nieces Linda and Judy, as well as nephews Henry, Wayne and nieces Kathy, Darlene and Debbie.
He is predeceased by his sibling, Henry Kasper and sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Don Lacefield, and sister-in-law Rita Kasperowicz.

Funeral on Saturday 9:30am in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford for 10:30am Prayer Service, Interment following in Hillside Cemetery, 742 Rutherford Avenue, Lyndhurst,NJ.

Family will receive Friends and loved ones Thursday 4:00– 7:00pm and Friday 5:00-8:00pm. Testimony & Prayer Service at 7:00pm.
